CHRISTINE LARA HOFF

Born in Berlin, Germany, Christine Lara Hoff holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and graduated with high honors from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and German. She received the Professional Promise Award from UC Berkeley for demonstrating great potential for future contributions to the environmental design profession. A licensed architect in both the US and Germany, her international professional experience focuses on technological innovation and sustainability. She has worked as a design lead at Weiss Manfredi and SHoP Architects in New York City, as well as at Behnisch Architekten in both Stuttgart and Los Angeles. Christine Lara Hoff has taught at the Universität der Künste Berlin, the Technische Universität Berlin and Yale University. She has been a guest critic at Yale University, Cooper Union, and UC Berkeley.

KIRSTEN JUDITH AUGSTEIN

Kirsten Judith Augstein was born in Wolgast, Germany. She has completed her Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin. Her previous experience in stage design and theater at the Universität der Künste led her to architecture. Her focus lies on sustainable construction and materials. She has practical experience in rammed earth construction through her involvement in the building of a school pavilion in Falkensee, Berlin. Participating in the interdisciplinary student research project MY CO-BUILD+AFFECT allowed her to gain firsthand experiences in academic research. The subject of this research was mycelium-based building materials. Alongside her studies, she joined the Hoff Architects team in May 2021.

 

MARLENA KRISTIN SCHULZ

Marlena Kristin Schulz, born in Berlin, Germany, completed her studies at the Technical University of Berlin with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Architecture. During her Master’s degree, she spent a semester abroad at Lund University in Sweden and took part in study trips to Poland and Indonesia. Parallel to her studies, she was a working student at Code of Practice Architects and Drees & Sommer and completed an internship in the field of architectural journalism at Houzz Germany. She is passionate about environmentally conscious and sustainable architecture, interior design and has a keen interest in vintage and design furniture. Since May 2023 she has been a part of the team at HOFF Architects.

 

NATALIE SALOCH

Natalie Saloch was born near Frankfurt am Main and recently completed her sixth semester in architecture at the Universität der Künste Berlin. During her Bachelor's studies, she spent a semester abroad at Listaháskóli Íslands in Reykjavik. Parallel to her studies she started consulting as an interior designer in 2021 and became part of the Hoff Architects team in September 2022.
