NEUPITZ
A SITE FOR NEW WORK

Neupitz is a place for workations and team retreats, idyllically situated with direct access to Lake Teupitz. As part of the ‘Netzwerk Zukunftsorte‘, an inspiring place for new ways of working is to be created here. In a first sub-project, the two derelict docks will be revived and expanded into a spacious bathing platform and a landing stage for floating workshop spaces. In the short term, the existing Wilhelminian-style villa will also be carefully renovated in line with the requirements, made accessible and extended to include an elevated wooden wing between the trees with additional hotel rooms. In the longer term, an ensemble of smaller earth-berm buildings will be constructed to the west of the existing villa, providing additional hotel rooms and more spacious communal areas. Despite the large scope of the project, the overriding aim is to minimize and harmonize its impact on the natural surroundings and maintain the open character of the site.
